Anita W. Panzullo, of Prescott, Ariz., died peacefully Sunday morning, Feb. 6, 2005. Anita was born July 19, 1936, in Pasadena, Calif.

She was a dedicated, tireless teacher, who for 36 years taught 'little people' (that was her expression) to read, write and think. Her last teaching assignment was in Santa Ana, Calif., where she taught Hispanic children the wonders of America and English. After retiring in 1993, she and her husband moved to Prescott where she enjoyed gardening and crafts. The last twelve years of her life, she endured MS bravely, without complaint, and with a great deal of acceptance.

Anita was a dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Bob of Prescott; daughter, Kathy; son, David of Costa Mesa, Calif.; parents, Jim and Claire Wilcott; and brother, Scott, all of Pasadena, Calif. She will also be missed by her son-in-law, Ian, six grandchildren, and one great- grandchild, Christopher, whom she called 'the little guy.' Anita was preceded in death by her son, Eric.

The family is indebted to the 'fellowship' of brothers and sisters who gave her love and support, especially her sisters in fellowship, Beverly, Monteze, Frannie, and Jill. She met and helped many as she trudged her road to happy destiny.

The family suggests memorials in Anita's name to the YRMC Hospice Restricted Fund, P.O. Box 26565, Prescott Valley, Ariz.

The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Private Cremation was done by Bradshaw Crematory of Prescott Valley.
