Thomas Sam Rose, 80, of Globe passed away Dec. 21, 2006 at the Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix.

He had been a lifelong resident of Globe and owner of the Mirror Barber Shop.

He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a member of VFW #1704, the American Legion and Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Betty; a son, Alan (Kathi) Rose of Globe; daughter, Lana Rose (Rick Hanson), of Gilbert; stepsons Rick (Brenda) Phillips of Globe and Flick (Karen) Phillips of Chino Hills, CA; stepdaughters, Sally (Bobby) Powell of Globe, Susie Middleton of Tucson and Pam Jordan of Valarie Van Cleve of Globe; and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother Harvey Rose.

Graveside services were Dec.27 at Pinal Cemetery in Central Heights.

Assisting the family was Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
