Mary E. Worthington, age 99, of Prescott, Ariz. died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at the Arizona Pioneer Home. She was born in Weed, N. M., to the late George and Edna Riggs.

Mary was a member of the Mountain Top Quilters, Early Day Homemakers, Prescott Garden Club, and Republican Women of Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Brown Worthington; parents; brothers, Earl and Fred Riggs of New Mexico, Paul Riggs of Mayer; and sister, Winnie Saunders of Prescott.

She is survived by son, Earl (Wilma) Worthington; daughter, Talitha (John) White both of Prescott; sisters, Ella Smith of Prescott, Josephine Riggs of Mayer, and Rose Riggs of Hatch, N.M.; three grandchildren, Julie (John) Nanke and Richard White both of Prescott, Mike (Tracy) Worthington of Chino Valley; eight great-grandchildren, Jessica (Tom) Leick, Jenna Nanke, Jared Nanke, Holly Pierson, Sierra Lanning, Brittany Worthington, Megan Worthington, Rachel Worthington and several nieces and nephews.

The family request that donations be made in memory of Mary E. Worthington to the Arizona Pioneer?s Home, 300 South McCormick Street, Prescott, AZ 86303.
