Jacob Edward Braden, age 19, of Prescott, died Saturday Feb. 19, 2005. Jacob was born Sept. 17, 1985, in Phoenix, to Edward Braden and Tonya Reid.

Jacob was always very happy and could brighten everyone?s day.
To know him was to love him. Even with all his challenges, he kept on pushing cheerfully through life.

Although Jacob was blind, you could tell he was seeing what was going on around him and appreciating the world.

He loved to be outside in the sun and wind. He loved music. Mommy loved you, Jacob.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Tonya and William Gabaldon of Prescott; his father, Eddie Braden of Ohio; sisters, Tiffany Reid and Briana Gabaldon of Prescott and Melody Ann Braden and Melissa Dawn Braden of Ohio; brothers, Joshua Reid and William Gabaldon of Prescott; grandparents, Fred and Val Reid of Prescott, Mike and Karen Mattingly of Prescott, Emma Gabaldon of Prescott Valley, and Clara Braden of Ohio; best friend, Joannie of Phoenix; and his dog, Goldie; most special friends, Ron and Georgia Newnam, and the many special friends at Aires and Starlight homes.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 26th, from 2 to 3 p.m., at the Potters House, 5195 North Highway 89, Prescott.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. Pastor Greg Mitchell will conduct the service.

The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.

To Jacob:
We love you more than you could know, It hurts so bad to let you go. We had hopes you were here to stay, But God had plans to let you play. Now you can run and jump and see, This is the place you deserve to be. In heaven, full of love and joy, Where you can finally be a normal little boy; Mommy's precious Angel.

We'll be there soon, Jacob, we love you.
