Thelma Louise (Ramage) Viliborghi

Thelma Louise Ramage Viliborghi passed away on July 15, 2008, at her home in Prescott, Ariz. Thelma was born Feb. 12, 1926, in Prescott to parents Russell and Elva Ramage.

She attended Prescott schools and graduated from Prescott High School in 1944. She attended college in Fort Collins, Colo., before marrying her high school sweetheart, Rocco Viliborghi in 1945.

They celebrated the birth of their first child, Mark, in 1946 and their second, Eric in 1955. Thelma was a wonderful homemaker, an avid gardener and loved nature, birds and animals. In the 1950s she was an award-winning golfer at Antelope Hills and won two hole-in-one medals in the 1960s. She and Rocco owned a western wear store and then she managed an apartment complex.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rocco. She is survived by sons, Mark of Prescott, Eric of Tempe; grandson Tyler of Tempe; sister Janet Binkley of Oxford, Pa., and Janet’s daughter Chris Binkley-Rubin of Los Angeles, Calif.

No services are planned. The family requests donations in Thelma’s memory to Catholic Charities, 434 W. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ 86301 or the Humane Society, 1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, AZ 86301.

The family entrusted the arrangements to the Hampton Funeral Home.
