The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 3, 1978, p. 7 UNA BELLE WEILAND A former owner and operator of Gene’s Mr. and Mrs. Shop, Una Belle Weiland, died last Wednesday at Yavapai Community Hospital in Prescott. Mrs. Weiland had owned and operated a retail store. Mrs. Weiland also formerly owned and operated a women’s apparel store in Yarnell. Graveside services for Mrs. Weiland were last Friday at Skull Valley Cemetery. The Rev. Merle Heatwole, retired, officiated. Mrs. Weiland, a native Arizonan, was born 69 years ago in Iron Springs. She was a member of the Cowbelles of Yavapai County, a member of Smoki, an Indian-type group in Prescott, and a member of the Elks Club. Survivors include a son, Billey Randall, and a daughter, Francie Hampton, of San Manuel; two brothers, Ted Mullen of Tucson and Ted Mullen of Phoenix; two sisters, Josephine Randall of Mesa and Francis Gray of Phoenix; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
