| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 31, 1978, p. 19 LOIS MARION HAYES Funeral services for Lois (“L.M.) Marion Hayes were Friday last week at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Hanna of the Assembly of God Church officiated. Burial followed at Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Hayes died Tuesday last week in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born 69 years ago in Texas. Mr. Hayes had been a mail contractor for Salome from 1966 until 1975 when he retired. At the age of 11 years, he moved to New Mexico with his parents. He moved his family to Mayer in 1940 and then to the Wickenburg area in 1954 where he carried the mail for almost 21 years. Survivors include his widow, Pauline, two sons, Louis of Wickenburg and Vernon of Bagdad; seven daughters, Sherrill Olson of Cornville, Jackie Stanfill of Braggs, Okla., Jo Ann Holmes of Niles, Mich., Mimia Montijo of Parker, Mary Cox of Bagdad, Martha Rankin of Salome, and Debbie Gardner of Wickenburg; 22 grandchildren six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Early Mae Brewer of Indio, Calif., and Viola Grice of Dumas, Texas; and a brother, J.
