EDGAR D. McKEAN, Sr.

A long-time Wickenburg visitor and supporter of numerous activities here, Edgar D. McKean, Sr., died Sunday, Oct. 1, in his home in Fox Chapple, Pittsburgh, Penn.

He had been coming to Wickenburg the past 31 winters for many winters, he and his wife were guests at the Remuda Ranch.
The past 17 years, they had been guests at the Diamond P. Ranch.

Mr. McKean financed the Wickenburg Saddle Club and supported several charitable institutions.

He was a member of the Desert Caballeros and made the 20th ride at the age of 84 just two years ago.

He was familiarly known as "Eddie" by friends here.

His family has asked that anyone wishing to do so make a donation in his memory to the Wickenburg Saddle Club.

Surviving are his widow, Laura; three sons, Edgar, Jr., Frank and John, all of Pittsburgh, and five grandchildren.
