Althea (Hill) Worrell

Althea Hill Worrell, 79, died Dec. 30, 2006, with her family by her side.

The funeral is pending with Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony, Idaho. Burial will be in Wilford Cemetery.

Mrs. Worrell was born Oct. 18, 1927 in St. Anthony to Charles H. and Mary (Murri) Hill. She lived in Casa Grande for seven years. She had a quick wit, loved to tease and had a great sense of humor. She loved telling stories, gardening and raising flowers, canning, crocheting and making quilts for all her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Donald; two sons, Dan R. Worrell of Salt Lake City and Burt J. Worrell of St. Anthony; two daughters, Charl L. Fresh of Pocatello, Idaho, and Marie Worrell of Newdale, Idaho; a brother, Grant Hill of St. Anthony; four sisters, Lucille Roberts of Burley, Idaho, Wilma Smith of San Jose, Calif., Lucinda Williams of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Carolyn Siddoway of Thayne, Wyo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis F. Herron, in June.

Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
