NICOLA DAVID McANULTY

He was a hero to his brother and adored by his mother.
He loved deeply, so he was deeply loved.
He loved to laugh, so he spread joy wherever he went.
He was a great friend, so he had a great many friends.
He was strong and sensitive, so he was tender and caring.
He was both intelligent and creative, so he was misunderstood.
He was a child in a man's body, so he lived life with a child's heart.
He was larger than life, and he will leave a large hole in our lives.

Nick, age 25, went to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving Day. He was born in Casper, Wyo., on Jan. 5, 1980. Nick was the loving son of Aline Richardson and a hero to his brother, Philip Roth, both residents of Prescott. He is also survived by his grandmother, Odette Naumburg Derenoncourt, 'Nanny,' of San Diego, Calif., and grandfather, Louis Pillard of Tucson.

Nick attended Prescott High School and graduated the Art Institute of Phoenix with a degree in Graphic Design.

Visitation for Nick will be Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at Heritage Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2110 Willow Creek Road, Friday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. Dr. B. Edwin McDonald officiating.
