Leo M. (Mitch) Davis

L.M. Davis, 78, of Camp Verde, Az., loving husband and devoted father and grandfather, passed away October 22, 2004. He was born in Ada, Ok. on May 14, 1926 to Seemenigh and Minnie Davis.

Mitch retired from United Metro after 35 years of service. He also served the United States Army as a Paratrooper and served in WWII and the Korean Conflict.

Mitch will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Mardele Davis, daughter Shawn (Bill) Becker, son Kevin (Debbie) Davis, son Kent Davis, 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and mother-in-law Eva Releford and many countless friends. Mitch, greatly loved his family and friends, was a man of integrity and will be dearly missed by all.

A visitation will be held Monday October 25, 2004 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Sunwest Funeral Home, 12473 NW Grand Ave, El Mirage, Az.

Funeral service will be Tuesday October 26, 2004 at 11am at Peace Lutheran Church, 18265 N. 89th Ave, Peoria, Az.

Interment will be at 1:00 pm held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Ln, Cottonwood, Az., 86326.
