| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, July 26, 2008 Ernest Ramon Rivera, 55, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born Aug. 6, 1952, in Prescott, Ariz., passed away July 23, 2008, at his home. Visitation is from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Funeral Mass is 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Sacred Heart Church, 150 N. Fleury Ave., Prescott. In lieu of flowers, an account in Ernest wife’s name, Melody Rivera, has been set up at Arizona State Savings and Credit Union, 7111 Pav Way, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314, to assist the family. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements. Sign Ernest’s guestbook --------------------------------------- Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 27, 2007 Ernest Ramon Rivera Jr. passed away at his home on July 23, 2008. He was 55 years old. Ernest was born on Aug. 6, 1952, in Prescott, Ariz., to parents Ernest Ramon Rivera Sr. and Georgia Rose (Gomez) Rivera. He was a lifetime resident of Yavapai County. Ernest married his soulmate Melody (Remley) Rivera on Feb. 22, 1986. They shared 22 years of love, laughter and memories. Ernest worked for Hensley Budweiser for 24 years and enjoyed his Bud Light at the end of his day. He enjoyed softball, bowling, golf and the love of his family. Ernest was proudest of his grandchildren. Words cannot sum up Ernest’s life, which was cut short. Those who knew and loved him know how special he was. Take comfort in knowing all he knew and loved will be forever in his heart and him in yours. Ernest will be greatly missed. Ernest is survived by his loving wife Melody Rivera of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; father Ernest Ramon Rivera Sr. of Prescott, Ariz.; sons Dan and his wife Tina Rafferty of California and Stephen Rivera of Prescott Valley; daughters and spouses Andrea King and Roman Preciado of Tucson, Ariz., Amanda Rivera and Jared Young of Cornville, Ariz., Alythea and Michael Weidenbacher of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Angela and Leigh Bennett of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; brothers John Rivera of Prescott Valley, Michael Rivera of Phoenix, Melvin Rivera of Phoenix, and Adam Rivera of New Jersey; sisters Virginia Howard of Phoenix, Vivian Rivera of Prescott, Melody Rivera of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Bea Alexander of Prescott; grandchildren Jesse Lee, Kailyn, Danny, Angelica, Gabriel, Ramon Jr., Nickolai and Marie Sybil Rose. Visitation is from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 Cortez St., Prescott. A funeral mass will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott, Ariz.
