Lola M. Ryberg July 21, 1912 - July 24, 2005 "Early in the morning, on the first day of the week" in Prescott, Az., Lola passed into the presence of her Lord Jesus. Born in Warrenville, Illinois to Joe and Lily Burkholder, she was the last surviving member of a remarkable family of 7 brothers and sisters. Lola was graduated from Wheaton High School, (Ill.), worked in Chicago and married her husband John (Moose) Ryberg in 1937. Together they had two children John (Buck) and Judi. Together also they worked as owner-operators of a fishing resort in Wisconsin, (Keego Lodge), a Dude Ranch in Tucson, Az. (Cielo Tierra), and the Panorama Restaurant in Prescott, Az. They moved to Prescott in 1960 and soon began worshipping and serving with First Baptist Church. Lola was known for her wonderful sense of humor and easygoing spirit, her servant heart and her love for the Lord Jesus. "FOR TO ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN." (Philippians 1:21) The family wishes to thank YRMC Hospice (especially Nicole, Holly, Charlotte and Pat), the staff and residents of Willow Wind, and all of the special people who visited and cared for Mom in her last years.
