Eleanor Agnes Bellgardt

Eleanor A. Bellgardt, born in Bessemer, Michigan on July 30th, 1922, passed away on April 8, 2005. She has lived in Prescott since 1956. Eleanor married Leonard Bellgardt Jr. and has spent the last 59 years
with him as a wife, friend, and traveling companion.

She is a loving mother of four children - John, Leonard III, Patrick and Gaylynn. Eleanor is survived by her husband, two sons and a daughter as well as 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her eldest son, John, passed away in 2000.

She retired as a Vice President of Morris Maler Inc., a clothing manufacturer. Over the years she created many works of art through her stitchery as well as other craft projects. She was a past president of the Elks Ladies Organization and spent many years supporting and traveling to Elks functions with her husband. She will be missed greatly by her family, who love her, as well as all those friends whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held Tuesday April 12, 2005 at Heritage Memory Mortuary 131 Grove Ave. Prescott from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday April 13, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 150 Fleury Ave. Prescott at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey.
