Adrian M. Boufford of Prescott, Az., passed away Sept. 30, in Prescott, Az. Adrian will be laid to rest Monday, April 30, 2007, at 10 am, at the Veterans National Cemetery in Prescott.

Adrien M. Boufford

Adrien M. Boufford 84, died Thursday September 30, at the Northern Arizona VA Medical Center, Hospice Wing. Adrien was born July 2, 1920 in Manchester, N.H. to Henri and Ethania Boufford.

In June 1940 he entered the United States Navy and served during WWII and the Korean Conflict. On January 10, 1945 he married Virginia Cary. Together they had three children, Madeline, Ronald and Mark. Adrien served his country for 22 years in the Navy, retiring in June of 1962 as an aircraft mechanic. Adrien and Virginia eventually made their home in Manchester, N.H. He worked 18 years for McGraw-Edison as a machinist. In 1984 they retired to Glendale, Az. later moving in 2001 to Prescott, Az.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Adrien loved his dogs, baseball, and 'The Price Is Right.' He was a member and past President of the Navy Fleet Reserve. He was very involved with his family and friends.

Adrien was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Virginia, one daughter; Madeline (Jody) Morgan of Arkansas City, Ks., two sons; Ronald (Pam) Boufford of Chino Valley, Az., Mark (Carolyn) Boufford of Orlando, Fl.; three sisters; Irene Robert of Dagsboro, Del., Simone Proulx of Auburn, N.H. and Lucille (Henry) Therrien of Manchester, N.H.; two granddaughters; Renee (Neal) Mangrum of Windfield, Ks., Michele (Justin) Morgan of Arkansas City, Ks.,; one grandson, Steven Morgan of Roswell, N.M.; two great-grandchildren, Catherine and Garrett Mangrum of Winfield, Ks.; and several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Adrien will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
