Bruce Earl Truby found peace on June 2, 2007, in Prescott, Arizona, surrounded by family and friends. Bruce was born on September 11, 1932, in Akron, Ohio.

Bruce served our country during the Korean Conflict with pride. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing slow pitch and racquetball as well as coaching his sons' little league teams. He had a passion for gardening and loved trees of all types.

His lifelong career was spent in the property/casualty insurance industry. Bruce was happiest in the company of family and friends especially celebrating during the holidays.

Bruce is survived by his life partner, Pauline Rotta; an older brother Jack Truby of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; daughter Beth (Scott); and sons, Scott, Mark, Brett and Bruce (Kim); as well as 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Bruce's life will be 11 a.m. June 16, 2007 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird, Peoria, Ariz.
