Earl B. Couch Earl passed away at home in Prescott, Ariz., on April 12, 2007, after a valiant fight with brain cancer. Earl was born on November 26, 1928 to Earl J. and Lena Couch in Blenco, La. In 1953 Earl married Sally Pippett and in 1956 they moved from Iowa to California. He worked in the aerospace industry for 35 years. He lived in Lancaster, Calif. from 1956 to 1979, then relocated to San Digeo, area of Calif. In 1998, Earl and Sally moved to Camerillo, Calif. to be closer to his family. In 2004, they moved to Prescott, Ariz. Earl enjoyed camping, water skiing, his 1949 Hudson, card games, a good practical joke and his family. He is survived by Sally, his wife of 54 years, daughters, Debi Matlock and Julie Walker; his sons-in-law, Jim Matlock and Dan Walker and his grandchildren, Geoff and Alison Matlock and Jonathan Walker, and his sister Cora Jean Hesse, of Sioux City, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Carl. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Granite Mountian Hospice, 3107 Clearwater Drive, Prescott, Ariz., 86305, A memorial service will be held in Ventura, Calif. on May 5, 2007 Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott, Arizona. |
