Raymond O. Quesada, 95, a resident and native of Florence, died June 1, 2006 in Casa Grande. The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. June 15 in Coolidge Valley Memorial Park. Mr. Quesada was born Nov. 24, 1910, more than a year before Arizona statehood. He served in the Army and received the Good Conduct Medal with five bronze service stars. He was a heavy-equipment operator for Pinal County. Survivors include two nieces, Eleanor Aguilar of Florence and Beatrice Leon of Phoenix, and two nephews, Alex Lopez of Apache Junction and Thomas Lopez of Chino Valley. His wife, Josie, died in 2000.
