Jesselyn Mae Gensicke, 83, of Cottonwood, Ariz., born Aug. 9, 1923, in Shelton, Neb., died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, in Cottonwood, Az.

Services will take place Nov. 18, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs. Colo.

Memorial contributions may be made to Northern Arizona Hospice, 203 S. Candy Lane, # 10AN, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.

Jesselyn Mae (Gumprecht) Gensicke

Jesselyn M. Gensicke, 83, died October 27, 2006 at her home in Cottonwood, Ariz. Jesselyn was born August 9, 1923 in Shelton, Neb. to Hollis and Frederick Gumprecht.

She and her husband Robert raised their family in Cedar Rapids, Iowa until moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado. They subsequently retired in Arizona.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, to whom she was married on February 9, 1947. Her three children are Steven Gensicke of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Holly Louvar of Temecula, Calif. and Robyn Uptegraff of Irvine, Calif. 'Punkie' had four loving grandchildren, Ryan Louvar, Nicholas Louvar, Anne Ohrt and Chris Gensicke and one great-grandchild, Grayton Louvar. Jesselyn is also survived by her sister Jo Ann Gorman of Studio City, Calif.

A memorial service will be held on November 18th at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
