Laura Mae (Moore) Speck Laura M. Speck 87, of Prescott, Ariz. passed away at her home on Sunday Jan. 23, 2005. Laura was born April 9, 1917 in Marion County, Indiana to the late William and Laura Moore. She moved to Arizona in June of 1969 and was a member of Prescott First Church of The Nazarene. She worked at Yavapai College and the Arizona Pioneer's Home as a food handler. Laura enjoyed reading, sewing and above all her family. Laura was preceded in death by her husband Dale Speck Sr.; son Harold Speck; grandson Robert Wheat Jr.; sisters Mable Banks and Adeline Johnson; brother Edwin Moore. She is survived by son Dale Speck, Jr. of Prescott, Az.; daughters Evelyn Wheat and Kathleen Speck both of Prescott, Az.; Deborah Troutman of Prescott Valley, Az.; and Linda Ansick of Payson, Az. She is also survived by grandchildren Jason Speck, Edward Craig IV, Rachel Mae Hall, Pamela Heyl, Tiffany Troutman, Brandon Troutman, James Troutman; great-grandchildren Laura Lynn Speck, Rosalyn Mae Hall, Ashley Wheat, Desiree Heyl, Victoria Heyl and great-great-grandchild Jacquelyn Bautista. There will be visitation at Heritage Memory Mortuary 131 Grove Ave. Prescott, Az. on Friday Jan. 28, 2005 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday Jan 29, 2005 at 10:00 am at the mortuary with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery 1051 Willow Creek Road Prescott, Az. Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott, Arizona. |
