Royal Dunkelberg

Royal Dunkelberg, D.D.S.

Royal Dunkelberg, only child of Alice and Roy Dunkelberg, was born Nov. 2, 1910, in Chicago, Ill. He joined his wife, Margaret Galantin and son, Kris Dunkelberg in heaven on July 2, 2005.

Left to enjoy his memory are children, Jan Erik and Cheryle Dunkelberg, Ryk and Jan Elise Dunkelberg, and Tina and Robert Summers; daughter-in-law, Christy Dunkelberg; nine grandchildren and numerous friends and relatives.

Royal spent most of his career at the V.A. Hospital in Oklahoma City. He retired to Prescott in 1971, where he was elected the first male president of the Symphony Association, Secretary of the Fine Arts Association, Secretary of the Friends of the Library, Senior Warden of St Luke's Church, and to the Dioceson Council of the Episcopal Church in Arizona.

Those so desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Thursday, July 7th, at 11 a.m. The congregation is invited to bring water pistols for a 21-gun salute.
