Darwin L. (Dar) Weir, 66, of Chino Valley, Az. died Sunday November 20, 2005. He was born March 11, 1939 in Fort Branch, Ind. to Alfred and Jessie Weir.

Known as "Dar" to his many friends, he will long be remembered for his ever-present smile and warm personality and will be dearly missed by everyone in the tri-city community who was fortunate enough to make his acquaintance.

He is survived by his loving wife and favorite dance partner, Fran; a son, Lt. Col. Russell Weir of Honolulu, Hawaii; daughter, Carole-Leigh Weir Brown of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother Charles Weir of Newburgh, Indiana; stepdaughter Karen Smith of Prescott, and stepson Kevin Haltom (U.S. Army) stationed in Landstuhl, Germany; and six adoring grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 26, 2005 from 1:00pm until 3:00 pm at Heritage Memory Mortuary 131 Grove Ave. Prescott, Az.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday December 1, 2005 at 2 pm with a visitation from 12:30 pm - 2 pm prior to the service at Sparkman-Hill Crest Funeral Home 7405 W. Highway, Dallas, Tx., 75225.

Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott, Ariz.
