| TEMPE - Mildred Luella Bowie, 89, of Tempe died Dec. 23, 2006. A celebration of life was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Road in Tempe. Mrs. Bowie was born Oct. 16, 1917 in Gilbert to J.C. and Hazel L. McFrederick. She was loving, generous and compassionate. She was never without a smile and always ready to help anyone in need. She was a retired teacher, an avid golfer and lifetime member of PEO. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Pitman and Marsha Goble; three stepdaughters, Carol Henry, Candi Hooper and Karen Perry; a stepson, Jim Bowie; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ©Casa Grande Valley Newspapers Inc. 2007 |
