Bessie Myrtle Triplett, 92, a resident in Wickenburg until 1965, died in Ojai, Ca. on Jan. 2 and was then returned to Wickenburg where she was buried.

She and her husband moved to Lonesome Valley, Arizona in 1925 where they bought and operated a dairy that had once been a stagecoach stop. She crossed the desert in a Model “T” using the old plank highway, which took a week to transverse.

Survivors include four children, Beulah Robertson, Ojai, Ca., Grace Hite, Newport, Oregon, Gila Jensen, Chino Valley, and Howard Triplett, Humboldt; 16 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 26 great great grandchildren.

Because she loved all children and befriended many, expressions of love are asked to be sent to World Vision International, Pasadena, Calif., 91131, in care of “Save the Little Children.”
