The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/05/2005 Mildred Frances Biddle, 89, died Friday July 29, 2005 in Taylor. Mildred was born to Anthony J. and Mildred E. Seitz Sept. 27, 1915 in Tuckahoe, NY. She was the last of four children. She grew up in New York, mostly in Katonah. At age 15, she and her mother and siblings moved to California and settled in Arcadia. She attended Wilson Jr. High School and Monrovia, Arcadia, and Duarte High Schools graduating in Monrovia. She attended Pasadena Jr. College. She married Lloyd Clark in 1935 and her only child, Joan was born in Monrovia in 1936. After a divorce, she was married to William Biddle in 1942 and gained a wonderful step-daughter, Margaret Corene at that time. They lived in Temple City, Calif. for two years and then moved to Monrovia. Mildred was a stay-at-home mom. She was a wonderful wife and mother and active in her children's school and outside activities. She was an excellent cook and housekeeper. She was a real fun mom, and could be found playing baseball, dancing and singing with her girls and their friends. The family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1970 and she has been an active member, serving in many callings, including Relief Society President, Primary Counselor and Ward Librarian. In 1974 Bill and Mildred moved to Bullhead City where they were very happy working in the Church and tending a home nursery. In 1999 Bill passed away and in 2000 Mildred moved to Taylor with her daughter Joan and son-in-law, Ted LeBlanc. She loved it there but always missed Bullhead City. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Joan (Ted) LeBlanc; eight grandchildren, Mike (Beth) Noble, Tim (Patty) Noble, Jeff (Robin) Noble, Kari (Steve) Diehl, Mark (Kim)Arnold, Scott (Carol) Arnold, Dana (Kenny) Montgomery and Jill (Chris) Henrich; 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, daughter Margaret Arnold, two brothers, Joseph and Jerome Seitz, one sister, Dorothy Seymour and one grandchild, Brian Noble. Funeral services will be held at10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 at the Taylor Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with concluding services and burial at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 at the Desert Lawn Cemetery in Bullhead City.
