| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 18, 1981 Stanley Taylor, 70, formerly a resident of Wickenburg, died Thursday May 28, at his home in Alexander, Ka. Born October 23, 1910 near Frankfort, Ky., he had been a resident of Alexander for 9 years. He married Virginia Thompson on October 10, 1948 in Morton, Tx. He was a retired polo pony trainer. Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, S. Sgt. Steven Taylor of Eglin AFB, Florida, and Michael Taylor of Wickenburg; 1 daughter, Mrs. Carla Strobach of Wichita; 2 sisters, Mrs. Julia Voigt of Oakland, Ca. and Mrs. Hawtence Deeter of Troy, Ohio, and 2 grandchildren. The funeral was held at the United Methodist Church in Alexander on June 1 and burial was at the McCracken Cemetery. |
