Charles Gomer "C.G." Stalhut, 82, ofKingman, born Aug. 8, 1921, in Huntington Beach, Calif., died Thursday, April 29,2004, at the Kingman
Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at the Chino Valley United Methodist Church, 735 E. Road 1 South, Chino Valley.

Burial will follow at the Chino Valley Cemetery, Chino Valley, Ariz.

Arrangement by Hampton Funeral Home. Prescott, Arizona.

Charles Gomer Stalhut, born in Huntington Beach, Calif., Aug. 8, 1921, passed away April 29, 2004, in Kingman, Ariz.

Charles proudly served in the United States Army from 1944 - 1946, in the 124th Calvary Squadron. He received the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Victory Medal, WWII Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He served in the China Defensive, The China Offensive, Central Burma, and India Burma.

He and his wife, Jean, lived in Chino Valley for 48 years. Charles and Jean moved to Kingman in 1999 to be closer to family.

Charles is survived by his lovely wife of 64 years, Jean; two wonderful children, Susan M. Stalhut and Thomas L. Stalhut; his grandchildren, Linda, Bill, Tonya, Becky, and Audra; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Shane, Jacob, Maygan, Kyle, Haley, Anthony, Jace and Wyatt.

Funeral Services will be held at the Chino Valley United Methodist Church at 3 p.m., on Sunday, May 2, 2004.

Graveside services will follow at the Chino Valley Cemetery.

The Hampton Funeral Home of Prescott was entrusted with the arrangements.
