Daughters, Karen (Tony) Zelnak and Debisu (Tim) Hyde and sons, Bill (Mary) Russell and Jack (Kim) Crow, Jr. as well as 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter also survive their beloved dad and grandfather.

Tom served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard aircraft carriers the U.S.S. Essex and the U.S.S. Valley Forge, during the Korean conflict.
He worked for many years on the Prescott National Forest before transferring to the Sierra National Forest (Trimmer Ranger Station, Supervisor’s Office, Fresno, Calif., and San Diego, Calif.). From there, Tom’s career took him to Orofino, Idaho, and the Clearwater National Forest where he retired as Forest Engineer in 1983.

Tom’s hobbies were many; snow skiing, tennis, racquetball, hunting and square dancing. He was very accomplished in woodworking and made many pieces of furniture for not only his and Sharon’s home, but for close family members, AWANA program and churches.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Verde Baptist Church (VBC), 102 South Willard, Cottonwood, Ariz. (928-634-3645).

Tom dearly loved working with the children at VBC’s AWANA program. To honor Tom, in lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the children’s AWANA program.
