Clara E. (Coleman) Stark

Clara E. Stark, 89, of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at YRMC. Clara was born on April 12, 1919, in Wichita, Kan., to James and Iona Coleman.

She moved with her family from Kansas to Prescott, Ariz., in 1954. Clara worked in retail sales at various times for Woolworth’s, J.C. Penney and Yellow Front in Prescott. She was a diehard Diamondbacks fan and thrived on crossword puzzles.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Galen in 1984; brothers, Kenneth and Lyle Coleman; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Duran of Chino Valley; her son, Jim (Kay) Stark of Sun City; brothers, Forrest and Dale (Jean) Coleman of Wichita, Ks.; grandchildren, Jody (Jim) Patterson of Mesa, Jennifer (Eric) Ory of Redlands, Calif., Frankie Duran (Buddy Rodriguez) of Scottsdale, Benny Duran of Chino Valley, Jason Carey of Phoenix, and Brian (Chelsea) Carey of Glendale; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Clara will be greatly missed but always remembered.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott.
