John Maynard Hackett III, 61, of Florence died May 26, 2006 at RTA Hospice In-patient House in Casa Grande. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Coolidge. Mr. Hackett was born June 10, 1944 in Olean, N.Y., and was a son of Audrey (Cahow) and John M. Hackett II. He was an Army veteran and served in Germany, Korea and Vietnam. He became an ordained Baptist minister and worked as a chaplain at several prisons. Survivors include his wife, Glenna "Niki" (Harbin), and two sons, Martin J. Hackett of Australia and Travis A.
