John Evanoff, age 84, died Sept. 7, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He
was born Dec. 15, 1923, in Grand Rapids, Minn.

John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a Mason and Shriner, as a Shriner he served as Chaplin for the Bradshaw Mountain
Shrine Club. John was also a life member of the Elks and a long-time Rotarian. John loved gardening, growing flowers and vegetables. His
friends were very important to him.

John was preceded in death by his son, Anthony. He is survived by his
wife of 64 years, Minnie Evanoff; son, Michael (Jeanne) Evanoff; broth-
er-in-law, George Makedonsky; granddaughters, Tina and Blaylock Evanoff and Teresa Chronister; step-granddaughter, Christine Bendette; and
six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service in honor of John will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept.
12, 2007, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Ariz.

The family suggests memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to Faith United Church of Christ, 1061 Old Chisholm Traii, Dewey, Az., 86327.

John Evanoff, 83, of Dewey, Ariz., born Dec. 15, 1923, in Grand Rapids, Minn., passed away Sept. 7, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Commemoration services in honor of John will be at 11 am Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Faith United Church, 1061 Old Chisholm Trail, Dewey, Ariz.

Sunrise Funeral Homes of Prescott Valley, assisted the family with arrangements.
