Oscar Jinkerson 75, a resident of Dewey for over 15 years, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2005, surrounded by his family. Born April 9, 1930 in Bay City, Michigan to William Oscar and Laura Lucinda (Chapin) Jinkerson.

Oscar served aboard the USS Titania during his four years military Naval Service then settled in Northern California in the heart of gold country.

After a 32-year career at Aerojet as an aircraft engine inspector, Oscar and his wife, Barbara, moved to Dewey, built their home, and retired.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Barbara, and children Gary, Henry, Fornie, Gwendolyn, Carolyn, Audrey, Jacquelyn, and Howard.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey.

Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott, Ariz.
