Ernest Wesley (Buster) Parks, Sr., of Chino Valley, Ariz., bon on Aug. 3, 1936, in Globe, Ariz., died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, in Chino Valley.

Memorial services will tak place at a later date.

Chino Valley Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Ernest Wesley (Buster) Parks Sr., 69, of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away Nov. 10, 2005, at his home. Mr. Parks was born on Aug. 3, 1936, to J. Frank and Mary Parks in Globe.

He grew up in the Phoenix area, was in the army in the 1950s and retired as a Phoenix Transit bus driver. After his retirement in 1998 Buster and his wife moved to Chino Valley.

Buster loved to hunt, fish, hike and go horseback riding. He always had a story to tell and advice to give. He enjoyed his retirement years and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Parks is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cheri Parks of Chino Valley; his sons, Ernest Wesley (Kathy) Parks Jr. and Matthew (Susan) Parks of Phoenix; his grandchildren, Dustin, Meghan, Michelle, and Kristen Parks, all of Phoenix; and his brother, Don (Pat) Parks of Prescott. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.

Memorial services for Mr. Parks will take place Saturday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. in the Chino Valley Funeral Home Chapel.
