Lionel Jeffrey Place left us Sept. 25, 2005. He was born to Hollywood parents on Nov. 1,1942.

He always kept his interest in the motion picture industry. His real passion throughout his life was aviation. He began his career with Flying Tigers, then Hughes Aircraft and then McDonnell Douglas with
whom he moved to Mesa to build the Apache Attack Helicopter. Upon retiring to Prescott, Jeff became active with the Prescott Rodeo. He
supported a number of the city's arts organizations and continued flying around his adopted state.

Jeff leaves behind people who cared greatly for him, Amanda Place, Elizabeth and Dan Reeb and Kathy Wittstock.

A private service is planned.
