Toni Ann Thompson left this world on Sept. 29, 2005, after fighting an unwinnable battle with a degenerative disease. She joins her beloved husband of 40 years, Steven Thompson, who preceded her in death just
eight months ago.

She leaves behind her three children, Lisa Todd, Julee Thompson, and Jeff Thompson, along with six grandchildren, Robert Lee, Michael Bonillias, Anstasia Lee, Jory Ebarb, Joshua Ebarb and Chloe Ebarb, who grieve her passing but take comfort that her suffering has ended.

Toni was born Toni Walser June 26, 1944, in Prescott, to Anthon and Elizabeth Walser. She grew up in Williams, Ariz., where she excelled in both academics as well as majorette skills, made lifelong friendships and met her beloved husband. Toni continued her education after high school earning her RN qualifications.

She married Steven in 1965 taking time outside nursing to care for her three children, which she did excellently. Within this role, she gave
unconditional love and support raising strong women and a sensitive man. Toni went back to nursing caring selflessly for patients and
mentoring many new nurses. Later in life, she became an adored and adorning grandmother. While she was proud of being a native Prescottonian, she loved California as well, especially the ocean and lived many happy years there, making a friendship that would seem
more like a sister.

Toni was a strong, intelligent woman who spent her life caring for others. She loved the coast, Native American art, reading mysteries, animals, history and garage sales.

She was a loving woman who is greatly missed, yet happily at peace with her life-long soul mate.

A private ceremony will be held for her immediate family in California

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Green Peaceor the Humaine Society.
