Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005 James Jason Bullard, age 79, of Mesa, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in Mesa, Ariz. He was born Nov. 13, 1925, the son of Charles Jason and Mable Irene (Criswell) Bullard in Fairview, Okla. James was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served as 2nd counselor for the 21st Ward in Phoenix and was 1st counselor for the Kirkland Brand in the Prescott Stake. He was a Stake Missionary and served a mission in Arkansas with his wife and son. He was a diesel mechanic for ARCO. He enjoyed working on cars and serving people. He was most proud of his family and church. James is lovingly survived by his children, Gregory Bullard of Mesa, James Bullard of Wilhoit, Deborah Bullard of Mesa and Leila (Patrick) Turner of Wilhoit; grandchildren, Melissa (Joe) Bakutis, April (Tom) Aranda, Patricia (John) Tomey, Robert Turner and Janette Turner.; six great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother, Virgil (Norma) Bul- lard of Henderson, Nev., and a special friend, Barbara. Service will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Grave dedication is at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11, at the Genung Cemetery, in Peeple's Valley, Ariz. Information provided by survivors. |
