Alfred Castro Saucedo, Sr.

Alfred Castro Saucedo Sr., 60, of Casa Grande died Jan. 3, 2007 at home.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Bardo Antunez. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Saucedo was born Oct. 22, 1946 in Greeley, Colo. He was a butcher and a hard worker. He was very friendly and generous. Music was a passion of his, and he often sang with his brothers. He enjoyed his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mary Helen (Rodriguez); two daughters, Mary B. Saucedo and Rebecca D. Saucedo of Casa Grande; a son, Alfred J. Saucedo Jr. of Maricopa; six sisters, Eleanor Enriquez of San Antonio, Texas, Maggie Morin of Eloy, Florinda Martinez, Maria Saucedo and Linda Silva, all of Casa Grande, and Mary Moreno of Chandler; two brothers, Ernie Saucedo and Fernando Moreno of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Petra Saucedo; a sister, Amelia Saucedo; and a brother, Adolfo Saucedo.
