Marjorie Louise (Walker) Sipes

Marjorie L. Sipes, age 91, passed away on Jan. 18, 2005, at home in Hillside. Marjorie was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Prescott, on Montezuma Street, the daughter of Edward Mead Walker and Ivy Eloise Brooks.

She was a member of the Hillside Church.

Survivors include her children; daughters, Mohea (Tim) Whitaker of Nevada, Donna (John) Wagner of Williams, Ariz., Karen (Bill) Fuller of Green Valley, Ariz., Sharon (Johnny) Sukoksy of Miami, Ariz., Ivy Love of Hillside, Ariz.; and daughter-in-law, Roberta Sipes of Bagdad, Ariz.; sons, Mickey (Mary) Williams of Phoenix, Ariz., Rod (Sue) Sipes of Congress, Ariz., Mark (Pam) Sipes of Bagdad, Ariz.; 41 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Murphy of Kingman, Ariz., and Fay Webster of Cottonwood, Ariz. and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Garnett S. Sipes Sr. in 1993, and by six of her children, Robert Fozier, Taylor Leroy, Marilyn Ann, Margie Bell, Bud Williams, and Garnet Sipes Jr., and two sisters, Dorothy Walker, Enid A. Edwards, two brothers, Robert and Ted Walker.

Funeral services will be Tuesday Jan. 25, 2005, at 11 a.m., at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Avenue, in Prescott.
