Marion Juanita (Moore) Grider

Marion J. Grider, 82, died at the the Carriage House in Snowflake May 18, 2006.

Marion was born in Indianapolis, Ind., Sept. 8, 1923 and married John F. Grider in 1953. A year later the family moved to Arizona, and after many moves they settled in Taylor where they lived for 30 years.

Marion worked at the Snowflake cafeteria for several years. The church callings she enjoyed the most were with her husband as Temple missionaries in Mesa and working for the Bishops Storehouse. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Eva Reidhead (Winn) of Shumway; and five sons, William Grider (Laurel) of Phoenix, Ronald Grider of Florida, Dennis Waterman (Lois) of Snowflake, Gerald Grider (Meridean) of Sartell, MN, and Wade Grider (Margie) of West Jordon, Utah; two brothers, Roy and Bob Moore of Indiana, and one sister Laura Kern of Mooresville, Ind.; 27 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, James; and a grandson, Kris.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., May 24 at the Taylor Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
