Frances Grace Blalock, 86, born May 11, 1919, in Milwaukee, Wisc., died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, in Prescott, Ariz.

A prayer service will take place at 11 am Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott, Ariz.

Frances G. Blalock, age 86, of Prescott, passed away on Dec. 11, 2005 at Prescott Samaritan Village. Frances was born May 11, 1919, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Crupi) Apollo in Milwaukee, Wis.

She moved with her family to Phoenix in 1947. After her children were grown, she moved to Prescott in 1962. Frances worked for the Veterans Administration as a food service handler in the Dietary department and she retired in 1976.

Frances is survived by her son, Jack (Ann) Reeves of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Joanne Moorhouse of Prescott; grandchildren, Willie, Mark, Kellie and Sherri; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-randchild.

Frances is also survived by her sister, Angeline Savage of Sun City, Ariz. and her brother, John Apollo of Milwaukee, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Reeves; her parents; her oldest son, Robert Reeves; three brothers, Andrew (Elaine) Apollo, Samuel (Jenny) Apollo and Paul (Myrtle) Apollo; two sisters, Mary (Ralph) Brock and Josephine (Forest) Schubel.

Frances is loved and missed, but will not be forgotten as her legacy lives on.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 10 to 11 a.m., with funeral services starting at 11 a.m., at the Hampton Funeral Home.

The family wishes to especially thank the YRMC Hospice for their loving care.

The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
