Clifford Block, age 85, of Prescott, Ariz., born March 8, 1920, passed away Nov. 1, when God called him home.

Clifford served in the US Army in WWII from 1941 until the end of the war. He was assigned to the tank destroyer group and was part of the effort on the beach of Normandy.

He graduated from Tri-State College in Angola, Ind., in 1952 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Clifford is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy; his son Curtis and his daughter, Wendy Pendleton.

He attended Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, where a memorial service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4.
