Louella Elizabeth (Lou) Stambaugh

Luella (Lou) Elizabeth Stambaugh, age 84, died at her home in Prescott,
Ariz. on April 12, 2004. She was born Dec. 3, 1919, in Logan, Ohio,
to James A. and Jenny L. Brown.

Lou is survived by her daughter, Nancy Rees Brown, of Prescott; her sons, Steve Stambaugh, of Irvine, Calif., and Tim Stambaugh of New
Orleans, La.; her sister, Sally Hiles, of Logan, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Marieka, Jennings, Justin and Zoe.

Lou was preceded in death by her husband, John J.Stambaugh.

She was a graduate of Ohio Univerrity and a wartime employee of the FBI.

She married John Stambaugh in June of 1941, and was a long-time resident
of Ada, Ohio. Lou moved to Preseott in November of 1995, and was active in community and religious affairs. She expressed her creativity through her cooking, especially for family and friends. She was most proud of her family who will miss her care andguidance.

A private service was held at her home with LaWanna Durbin.

Arizona Kuffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
