A. H. (Butch) McCutcheon, born April 14, 1943, in Webbers Falls, Okla., went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 25, 2006.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow McCutcheon and Gale Hendrickson. He is survived by his loving wife, Marylyn; his sons, Terry (Cathy) and Ronnie (Ariene) McCutcheon and Gary Sorrels; his daughter, Jerri Muskrat; grandchildren Dustin, Suzi, Jimmy and Crissy; sisters Joann Jones, Martha (Andy) Killingsworth and Gwen (Rick)
Callahan; his brother, Gerald McCutcheon; many nephews and nieces; his extended family, Michael and Cheryl Lough; and grandkids Catherine,
Kimberly, Nolan and Michael A.C. Lough.

Before moving to Prescott, Ariz., in 1980, Butch spent many years in the auto parts sales field. After moving to Prescott in 1980, his sports
store was the place to shop for any needed athletic equipment. He was an outstanding businessman with a strong work ethic and a true desire
to provide more than just outstanding customer service; he provided a ministry to all who walked through the doors of All Star Sports Cen-
ter. He donated to teams, gave a helping hand to many individuals, and was always willing to serve those in need.

Butch was equally active in his church community, serving at many different churches throughout his life, continuing through the past
26 years during his time here in Prescott. He has served on many committees with Willow Hills, The First Southern Baptist Church of Prescott, including two rather large building fund teams. He was highly instrumental in helping to develop and grow the mission of his Prescott church, which became the First Southern Baptist Church of Wilhoit. He served there in many ways, especially serving with the youth. It was his true desire that all come to know the grace of the Lord and freely accept His gift of salvation.

Butch certainly had done so, and that provided him and his family the strength and guidance needed for his life, particularly the final steps of his life.

Playing on many different city and church sports leagues was his passion. He loved softball, which he played right up to within a few days of the beginning of his battle with cancer this summer. While he played softball, baseball and basketball at many levels over the years, some of his best times were his recent experiences with the local
Senior Softball League and the Yavapai Cantina.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Willow Hills First Southern Baptist Church in Prescott.

A private burial service will be held in Porum, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the A.H. "Butch" McCutcheon medical fund at Desert Hills Bank, Prescott.

The Hampton Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
