Robert James Smith passed away Nov. 1, 2008, in Lake Havasu City. He was born June 7, 1925, in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Robert married Patricia A. Grant-Smith Nov. 26, 1987, in Parker.

He served in the Army Infantry for four years serving as a private 1st. He lived in Lake Havasu City for 30 years after spending 15 years in Green Bay, Wis., and 10 years in Aspen, Colo. Smith was a photographer for the Havasu Senior Center in his spare time.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Rubin Smith and Reberta Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his sons: Randall, of Phoenix, Todd, of Nashville, Tenn., Tim, of Riverton, Wyo., and Rex, of Riverton; his stepdaughter, Kathleen, of Tampa, Fla.; and his brothers, Richard, of Naples, Fla., and Bill, of Henderson, Nev.

Robert Smith’s computer was very important to him and he loved his dog, Kaiser. He will be greatly missed and loved. Arrangements were entrusted to Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory. Your thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family at www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
