| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, December 13, 2005 Janice (Jan) A. Gaxiola, age 68, passed away Dec. 10th, after a valiant battle against lung cancer. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Jan had recently moved to Green Valley, Ariz. from Prescott. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert; daughters, Jennifer Knowles (David) of Houston, Texas, Sandi Star (Mark) of Carlsbad, Calif.; and son, Marty Richardson of Butte, Mont.; sister, Donna Platt (Gordon) of High River, Alberta, Canada; and brother, Fraser Martin of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She lived in the San Diego, Calif., area for many years and requested that a celebration of life be held in her memory. In accordance with her wishes, friends and relatives are asked to join together on Sunday, Dec. 18th, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Tamarack Inn, 3200 Carlsbad, Blvd., Carlsbad, Calif. Jan requested donations to reputable charities be made in lieu of flowers. Information provided by survivors. |
