Donald Earl Hull, 85, of Prescott, Ariz., born Jan. 9, 1920, in Findlay, Ohio, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at Los Fuentes Resort Village in Prescott.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at First Congregational Church, 216 E. Gurley St., Prescott, Ariz.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to YRMC Hospice, 3262 N. Windsong Dr., Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86312, or to the Music Department of First Congregational Church.

Donald Earl Hull, age 85, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at his home at Las Fuentes Resort Village, after a long battle with melanoma. He was born
Jan. 9, 1920, in Findlay, Ohio.

He was the youngest of four sons born to Andrew J. and Edith (Winebrenner) Hull. At the age of three, his family moved to Laramie, Wyo., where he lived through his school years.

Don attended the University of Wyoming before enlisting in the Army Air Corps in 1941. After extensive training he received his commission and served in various locations in the U.S. and Guam and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant in 1946. He married Mardell Stewart in June of that year. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1947.

He spent 34 years working for Phillips Petroleum Company in Oklahoma, Utah, Pennsylvania and Texas, moving to Prescott to retire in 1981.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mardell; children, Donna of St. Louis, Mo., Gregory of Sedona, Deborah of Salt Lake City, Utah, Barbara of Galiup, NM; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Marcy, Colin and Aidan.

Don was a member of Prescott Noon Lions, Sister City and First Congregational Church, where he sang in the choir for 24 years. He loved to travel and had many interests including fishing and photography.

A memorial service is planned for Dec. 20, 2005, at 10 a.m., at the First Congregational Church, 216 E. Gurley, Prescott.
