Delma Eugene Guthrie, 73, of Paulden, Ariz., born Oct. 6, 1932, in Decatur, Ala., died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, in Prescott, Ariz.

A private cremation took place at the Wakelin Bradshaw Crematory. Full obituary to run at a later date with service information.

Burial at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix.

The Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.

Delma E. Guthrie, age 73, of Paulden, Ariz., died on Nov. 15, 2005, in Prescott, Ariz.

Delma was a U.S. Navy veteran having served on the USS Fletcher. He was a member of the American Legion Post #40 of Chino Valley.

He enjoyed camping, golfing, playing cards and spending time with his family. He was most proud of his family and his three chick-a-dees.

Delma is lovingly survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly; his children and their spouses, Pamela and Gus Foucher of Stockton, Calif., Karen and Bob Gumm of Lodi, Calif., Teri Guthrie of Owego, N.Y, and Doug Guthrie of Stockton, Calif.; his grandchildren, Jenny, Jason, David, Jess, Bailey and great grandchild, Natalie; also by brothers
and spouses, James Oscar and Gus of Florida and Jim and Janice of Tennessee.

Military honors at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029
Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Ariz. at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, 2005.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Delma's name can be sent to the American Cancer Society.

The Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
