Francis X. (Frank) Burke

Francis X. (Frank) Burke was born in Kingston, N.Y., on July 10, 1922. He peacefully passed away on Nov. 21, 2005, at Las Fuentes Care Center, Prescott, Ariz.

Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Black Burke. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Doice of Highland, N.Y., and other
family members who include Hilda Visscher of Grahmsville, N.Y, Joan Black of East Jewett, N.Y, Parker and Jane Black of Cornelius, N.C., and
Lewis and Sheila Black of Prescott and several nieces and nephews.

Frank served in the Army and received four medals including the Purple Heart.

He retired from IBM in 1977 with more than 30 years of service. Frank and his wife spent his retirement years residing in Block Island, R.I.,
before moving to Prescott in 1990.

Frank was an especially warm, congenial, kind person; he will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, Nov. 30,2005, at 11 a.m.

The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, a donation to YRMC Hospice, P.O. Box 26565, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86312.
