Betty Trimbell, 87, of Congress, died Feb. 21 at the Wickenburg Community Hospital Nursing Home. She was born in Asch, Austria on July 30, 1897 and lived in Arizona for six years.

She moved to the United States in 1902 and married Leon Trimbell in 1917. She and her husband lived most of their lives in Wyoming and Nevada and moved to Congress in 1978.

She was a member or volunteer to the following organizations; Veterans Administration Hospital, Royal Neighbors of America, Silver State Senior Citizens, World War I Ladies Auxiliary and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, all in Reno, Nev.

Survivors are two sons, Ed, of Congress, and James L., of Reno; one daughter, Dorothy Duemling, of San Leandro, Calif.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Bernice Morrison.

A memorial services was conducted at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg on Feb. 25. A private cremation was also conducted with her ashes being interred at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno. There was no visitation.

The arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
