| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 18, 1985, page 13 Robert M. Nelson, 44, of Wickenburg, died April 13. He was born May 29, 1940 in Leeds, N.D. and moved to Wickenburg from Washington in 1976. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg and an active member of the Arizona Parts Managers Association. He chose Wickenburg as his permanent home because of friend and his love of the town and desert. Survivors include his wife, Sandra K., of Wickenburg; two sons, Jamie McGuffin, of Wickenburg and Lance Michael Nelson; three daughters, Vanessa Jill Tabar, of Flagstaff, Jerry Dee Johnson of Bellview, Wash. and Jodie Rae Goodwin; one sister and two granddaughters. Memorial services were April 17 at 10 a.m. at the Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Adam Lautenschlager, Father David Sharp and the Rev. Fred Downing officiating. A private cremation was conducted. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home. |
